Each and every appointment begins with an appraisal of your furbaby’s current quality of life. This makes it easier for us and you to make a well-informed decision regarding whether euthanasia is the most appropriate option. If we decide that having your companion euthanized is the best solution, we will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have before we start. We’ll ask you to take your pet to their favorite spot in your home and remain by their side through the procedure. First, we will provide your companion with pain medication and a sedative to ensure that they are calm and comfortable. When the meds have kicked in and you’ve had time to say goodbye, we will administer the euthanasia drug.
