The Process

For each pet we see, we provide a quality of life assessment and discuss any of the findings with the owner. Once the decision to euthanize has been made, the veterinarian can walk you through the process to ensure you understand each of the steps. One of the key parts of the process starts with proper sedation and pain medications, so we can be sure that your pet is comfortable. Once they’re ready, the veterinarian will administer the last step and let you have time with your pet as they pass. We encourage you to spend as much time as you need with your pet, we’ll never rush you through this process.
